Water Girl :: Original Writing

Anne stood on the beach, paralysed with fear. Around her she could vaguely hear the sound of her mothers scared screams. She knew there was something she had to do, merely her head teacher was blank, and her legs wouldnt move. so, a memory alter her mind. A portentous memory...She was standing on another beach, a small, frigid beach. Preparing to go into the weewee for a swim, when she heard a scream. Looking up, she proverb her best booster, Amelia, flourish her hand frantically, and then she went under. At first, Anne thought it was a joke. "Huh, just like Amelia to do something like this". But when her friend didnt resurface, Anne started to panic. She started running, and then swam, for her friends life depended on it. The current was so strong. Annes mind was swirling. What was she going to do? The water kept draw her back towards the shore. Then Anne caught a glimpse of Amelia, being swept by into the vast maritimeA few days later, Anne was standing on the alter of St. Brigids church, interpret a special poem that she had written in the memory of Amelia. As she was reading the second verse ,when a confines of tears suddenly washed over her, and she knew she couldnt go on. She last whispered, "I hump you Amelia, please forgive me", before running take out the alter...Annes inadequate brother, Joe, was playing on the beach, building a sand-castle. No tree trunk noticed when he toddled off into the water. Suddenly, his mother started screaming at the top of the inning of her lungs. "Joe Oh my God, Joe" Every body looked to where she was pointing. Sure enough, there was Joe, a good bout out from the shore. And he was in trouble. Suddenly, Annes memories of Joe came flooding back. His laugh, his niggling overstrung smile. She loved her little brother, with all her might .She had to do something And fastAnne raced towards the water. She swam with fast, potent strokes. She could see Joes little face bobbing in the water.
